Bohn Refrigeration Equipment
I've found the Bohn refrigeration equipment I've worked on over the years to be well made and durable.
The bases and enclosures of the condensing units, and the evaporator units, are carefully constructed of tough materials.
The electrical and refrigeration components (fans, controls, compressor, txv, receiver, etc.) are all from major manufacturers, which increases the likelihood that your distributor will have replacement parts on hand.
Of course not all distributors can stock all the parts you might possibly need all the time, but I've always been able to quickly locate and at least order in the correct replacement parts.
I've also gotten the impression, from working on Bohn refrigeration equipment, that it's actually designed for easy access to components.
This helps technicians save time during installation, maintenance, and repairs, which helps reduce labor costs.
If you own Bohn equipment and are considering retro-fitting to newer refrigerants, I would expect Bohn's service department would be able to provide you with clear guidelines on exactly how to do it, with exact information about what components you might need to replace.
If you own Bohn equipment and are looking for parts or service information, thanks for visiting our site, but you need to go to
Bohn Refrigeration.
They have a great site that will probably have exactly the information you need, and I have no doubt that their service department can answer any technical questions you might have.
If you're considering buying Bohn equipment, and are getting a good price and warranty, go for it.
As long as the equipment is selected correctly, I would expect installation and start up to be straightforward and simple, and operation to be efficient and trouble free.
